The COVID-19 pandemic has ensured that our economy will look a lot different in the future. However, we’re very convinced that a career in healthcare will always be a reliable option. Healthcare professions continue to grow, even during economic downturns. People will always need care, which means you’ll always be able to find a fulfilling career in healthcare where you can make a difference.
Medical training institutions like ours help you gain the skills you’ll need for a successful medical field career. Despite what many people think, medical training doesn’t require a long, expensive stint in medical school or nursing school. Our medical training programs prepare you for a career in healthcare in under a year.
We’ve put together a guide to our programs below. If you’re interested in enrolling, feel free to contact us at any time, and a member of our team will help you find a program that meets your needs.
Overview of Our Medical Training Institute
We offer four programs at our medical training institute in Miami. Through our programs, you can become a home health aide, pharmacy technician, patient care technician, or medical assistant. All three programs will prepare you for plenty of opportunities in the medical field. All of our programs include hands-on learning, so you’ll get a sense of your future career from your classes at our medical training institute.
Our home health aide program is our shortest: it takes just 75 hours to complete. After completing this program, you can look for excellent employment opportunities assisting older people and others in need with basic healthcare and tasks around their homes.
Our more extended programs prepare you to become a pharmacy technician, patient care technician, or medical technician. In these programs, you’ll learn about the basics of the human body as well as specific skills related to patient care or pharmacology.
Employment Prospects for Medical Training Institute Graduates
Many people are worried about what types of jobs will be available in the coming years due to automation and economic changes. Luckily, our programs prepare you for professions that continue to grow, despite broader economic trends. Whether you become a pharmacy technician or a home health aide, you’ll be entering a growing field. The Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that the home health aide profession will grow immensely in the next ten years.
Plus, health care jobs are some of the most fulfilling positions available. Regardless of which program you choose, you’ll end up working directly with people to make a difference in their lives. We’ve spoken to people who have left food service or clerical jobs to work in healthcare, and they are so happy they’ve made the change. All of our programs prepare you for hands-on, stimulating work, and you’ll be able to head home each day knowing you’ve helped someone.
