OBJECTIVE

The Database Manager program aims to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to pursue a career in database management and application development across various industries. Through a comprehensive curriculum, students will gain proficiency in database design, SQL querying, performance optimization, and the integration of databases with web applications. 

The program will also familiarize students with emerging technologies such as NoSQL, Big Data, and Cloud Computing, as well as concepts in Data Analytics & Visualization. Upon completion of the program, students will be prepared to secure positions as database administrators, database developers, or application developers, capable of effectively managing and leveraging databases to meet the evolving needs of organizations.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

The Database Manager program is designed to impart students with foundational knowledge and practical skills essential for proficient database management and application development. Covering a comprehensive curriculum spanning 900 hours, the program begins with an Introduction to Information Technology & Computers, providing students with a solid understanding of IT fundamentals. As they progress, students delve into Programming Fundamentals, Web Development Essentials, and Server-Side Web Programming, where they learn to design and implement dynamic web applications integrated with databases. Advanced courses, including Database Design & Development and Advanced Database Management, equip students with relational database design, SQL querying, and performance optimization expertise. Additionally, students explore emerging technologies such as NoSQL, Big Data, and Cloud Computing for Databases, alongside topics in Data Analytics & Visualization, IoT Data Management, and Project Management & Implementation. Through practical exercises and collaborative projects, graduates emerge as proficient database professionals ready to meet the industry’s evolving demands across various sectors.
