CNAs work primarily in inpatient settings (hospitals, nursing homes, rehabilitation facilities) providing direct patient care: bathing, feeding, mobility assistance, and vital signs monitoring. If you prefer working in both clinical and administrative roles in a clinic or doctor's office, Medical Assistant may be a better fit. If you prefer hands-on patient care in a hospital or nursing home environment, CNA/PCT may suit you better.
