Our History
Global Medical & Technical Training Institute was established in June 2004 by Tania Martinez under the name Global Training School, Corp. to provide high-quality vocational and technical education tailored to the needs of a diverse student population. Since opening its doors, the institution has focused on supporting students, especially those facing language barriers or basic skills challenges, in gaining the knowledge and hands-on training necessary for success in healthcare and technical careers. Through flexible instruction and a well-balanced curriculum, Global Medical continues to empower students to achieve their academic and professional goals.
When Global Medical & Technical Training Institute first opened in June 2004, it launched with three core healthcare programs: X-Ray Technician, Pharmacy Technician, and Medical Assistant. These foundational programs were created to meet the demand for skilled professionals in high-growth healthcare fields. In 2016, the school expanded its offerings to include the Patient Care Technician and Home Health Aide programs, further strengthening its mission to provide comprehensive training for in-demand healthcare careers. The school has remained in the same location since its founding.
